WWE NXT star Tony D'Angelo warns title contenders he's on a 'path of destruction'
Tony D'Angelo vows path of destruction for NXT title
Tony D'Angelo competes in a fatal four-way for the NXT Championship against champion Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints and Ethan Page at Stand & Deliver on Saturday. The former NXT North American champion returns to title contention after defeating Cutler James and Dion Lennox at Vengeance Day. D'Angelo told Fox News Digital he trusts his gut following the breakup of his stable, The Family.
Nearly a year ago, stablemate Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo betrayed D'Angelo at the previous Stand & Deliver event. The Family dissolved in July, and D'Angelo resumed in-ring action in December with a new look. He previously challenged Ilja Dragunov for the NXT title at Stand & Deliver in Philadelphia.
D'Angelo holds one NXT North American Championship reign, two NXT Tag Team Championship reigns and one Heritage Cup victory. He stated of the upcoming match: "I am on a path of destruction right now. I don’t think there’s anything that’s gonna stop me from getting what I want and it’s the NXT Championship."
Stand & Deliver airs at 7 p.m. ET Saturday from The Factory in St. Louis, Missouri, on YouTube.
